Design-Build of new roof and new Fall Protection System for occupied 10 story (154 LF tall) Federal Building with Penthouse, 11 stories (182 LF Tall) in Jacksonville Florida 

Downtown Jacksonville building houses several federal agencies, including GSA and HUD and remained occupied during the entire construction period

Scope included: 

• Design flat roof to sustain a 140 mph wind design speed
• Demolition of dozens of mechanical and communications units and associated connections
• Demolished roof down to the structural metal deck, all flashing, and other associated roofing items
• Installed complete SBS modified bitumen roofing system, drainage and lightning protection
• Designed and installed Structural Fall Protection system, along with associated structural upgrades that will hold window washers and maintenance personnel platforms
